STS’ G8 products are designed to be used in many different environments. This article examines G8’s capability in offline-only environments, where there is no possibility to perform online authorisation, and limited connectivity for sending settlement files; for example, on board aircraft, trains or buses, or in unconnected, unattended terminals like vending machines or car park terminals.
